About
Hey, I'm Ethan. I'm an engineering student at Northwestern University hoping to figure out life alongside you!
I hope you'll forgive me for being a little self-indulgent on this page. It's all about me! Hopefully, you'll find it a little interesting though.
Who Am I?
I'm Ethan, an engineering student at Northwestern interested in space exploration and the intersections of AI and robotics. Recently, I've been researching robotic localization and mapping algorithms.
Still, while academic progress is my main goal, for now, I often spend my afternoons writing about productivity, life hacks, and other random things in my blog: Postweek Interview.
Other Projects and Interests:
Soccer
I've been playing soccer since I was five, so I greatly appreciate all the joy this sport has given me. I mostly stopped playing competitively during and after high school to focus more on engineering, but I will always love joining a quick pickup game, breaking down tactics, and watching the best players play. 2022 World Cup = Perfection.
Video Games
Over time, as I've had less time to play them, video games have turned from a form of entertainment to a way for me to connect with friends. Still, I love a good single-player game (from Nintendo of course) or facing off against my friends in a game of League of Legends every once in a while.
Great Books and Great Speeches
There's something about reading or hearing the thoughts and insights of a great person that everyone seems to be drawn to. As a result, I've been trying to make more time to learn about new insights and ideas I can employ or write about.
People
This may sound a bit strange, but I'm interested in learning about people's goals and aspirations. One of my main life goals is to meet more motivated people and hear about their goals, motivations, and life stories. Maybe that's just the leadership student in me coming out, but I feel like connecting in this way is what life is all about.
